Randy Bennett is President and founder of EC Stratagems. He is a leader in applying the disciplines and knowledge areas of project management to more general management challenges and to aligning projects to overall business strategy. Randy has had active managerial experience in such industries as consumer packaged goods, pharmaceuticals, financial services, health care, IT, and consulting.
Randy is a long-time member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), the American Marketing Association, the International Listening Association, and the International Coaching Federation (ICF). He has been invited to speak at Project Management Institute Congresses and the World Future Society, among others. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and continues to work actively on the new Organizational Project Management Maturity Model (OPM3). He is active in the New Product Development and the Marketing & Sales Specific Interest Groups of PMI. He also chairs the Business Development SIG of the ICF.
His interest in this area was first confirmed when he was one of a handful of national invitees to the 1976 National Rural Development Leaders conference, and continues to his current leadership roles in PMI, ICF, and his community. He has pursued this interest through education and training, but most of all with hands-on experience. Randy teaches at the University of Phoenix Online, serves on his local Planning Commission, is a member of his local school board, and is a board and executive committee member of the United Way of Western Montgomery County (PA).
